Capturing a gorgeous and inspired styled wedding in a Hampshire farm

A few weeks ago, I collaborated with some fantastic people on a styled wedding in Hampshire. Plenty of cowgirl boots, hay bails and horse rides on this one!

Organised by the amazing and talented Tasha (https://www.tasha-mae.co.uk) - this styled shoot was at a brand new venue in Hampshire, a lovely farm owned by Sarah. We wanted to show the people of Hampshire how Langford Farm would be the perfect backdrop for anyone looking for a rustic farm wedding, with horses and hay bails galore!

One really important part of a day like this to capture content for a styled wedding shoot, is making sure to capture the behind the scenes of the day too. Taking photos of my collaborators like Sonya with her amazing Stationary business (https://www.prettycreativestationery.com) was something I made sure to make some time for! (can’t forget the abundance of cats at Langford Farm too.

Whilst we set up some stunning portraits in the barn, Tasha and NIA began setting up the archway for our mock wedding ceremony in the lovely sunshine. As part of Tash’s prop hire business (https://www.maeandmaple.co.uk) you can hire archways and many other amazing things, so we centred the main part of the shoot around this archway

Nia from (https://www.luvshiftingflowers.com) dressing the archway with some beautiful florals, and despite the blue skies and warm edits to these photos, Nia proves here that it was a rather cold day in truth!

Langford Farmhouse provides an amazing space for anyone wanting a farm wedding in Hampshire, with lots of places for great photos whilst you and your wedding party get ready for the big day. Amber and her mum had a great time getting ready in this gorgeous home.

This first archway set-up for Amber’s styled wedding with the tree-of-life backdrop really just shone in the winter sunlight, it made for some really gorgeous photos!

They say never to work with children or animals, but when working with these horses from Langford Farm, we had so much freedom because they were so chilled out and really would be the perfect 4 legged companion to have on your wedding day here.

This beautiful cake was designed by the very talented and lovely Helena (@by_helenajane) and it’s safe to say it looked delicious, so much so the chickens and cats were very interested in it!

As well as Amber, and the tree of life backdrop, we had the lovely Courtney and the draped white backdrop alongside Tasha’s archway build for the ceremony at Langford Farm - a really nice difference which just looks great on a blue sky day like we had!

Some more stationary and cakes by Sonya and Helena! One of the great things to take away from Styled wedding shoots and also just weddings in general, are the connections that you can make. It’s so important to value the network you can build in weddings, one of the biggest industries in the world. the power of word of mouth in this industry is not to be underestimated - so it’s great to meet some new lovely people at things like these!

Courtney happened to have a history of riding horses, which was great for the shoot as we had envisioned some shots of a bride in the saddle, I couldn’t be happier with these!

We returned to the inside of the barn for some more portraits amongst the hay bails after Courtney and Roxter had a great ride on the gravel at Langford Farm. I really loved the soft portrait look the inside of the barn gave!

So if you’re looking for a venue and you love the outdoors, rustic vibes mixed in with a bit of Texas hold ‘em - perhaps Langford Farm might be the venue for you!

Likewise, if you’re inspired by these photos and these match your vibe of your wedding, don’t hesitate to enquire using my booking form!
