The Process

You see my photos and my wedding films, love what you see, and pop me an email via my contact form explaining when your wedding is, a little bit about yourselves and the special day.

after confirming i’m available for your wedding date, i’ll send you a booking form with invoice for the 20% deposit to confirm the booking (booking is not confirmed without deposit being paid!)

Once booking form returned and deposit payment is received, your big day is locked into my calendar. this is when we can arrange a pre-wedding consultation to discuss all the details

a couple months before your wedding, if we have not already met each other for a pre-wedding shoot, we will have our pre-wedding consultation (typically online, but can be in person if local). During this session, we can discuss the vision of your wedding and chat about all the little bits you would love captured.

if you fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

the wedding day itself. i’ll be snapping away, making you look like the beautiful selves that you are. documentary style with a cinematic flair. within 48 hours of the wedding, you will receive a gallery with some sneak previews!

8 weeks later, you will have received an email from me with your full photo gallery. have a sit down, make an event out of reliving your big day together. share with your friends and family, and keep a backup of the gallery stored on your computer!

FAQ

how long is your turnaround?

Usually, it takes me around 8 weeks to deliver a full wedding gallery, sometimes you might receive your photos quicker than that but during peak season, expect to wait 8 weeks. video delivery can be up to 12 weeks.

how do we pay?

I take BACS payment only, with a 20% deposit during booking to confirm your day in my diary, then the remaining amount anytime up to a week before the wedding.

Where are you based? and will you travel?

I’m based in Dorset, a mere stones throw away from the Jurassic Coast (a stunning place to elope!). So I tend to shoot a lot of weddings in Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Devon and Somerset.

That being said, I will travel anywhere for the right wedding! some of my favourite weddings have been captured outside of Dorset. Though, if your wedding is 2 hours or more away from me, I will have to expense for travel.

I will also travel abroad for a wedding, so don’t hesitate to get in touch if your wedding is in a lovely warm country!

can you recommend any other suppliers?

I’ve worked with lots of other makeup artists, hair stylists, event planners, cake makers, stationary designers (the list goes on!)

we’re only looking for a few hours of coverage, can you help?

for those couples who only need photos during the ceremony, or you might be having an intimate elopement, I do also offer a ‘short and sweet’ wedding photography package for £500. This includes 2 hours of coverage which should be plenty for a ceremony and the important bits afterwards.
